The studio is around 60 minutes from Wilmslow, straight down the M56/M53 past Chester. Clients from Knutsford and Alderley Edge are on-site within same amount of time. Far enough to feel like a proper day out. Close enough to do on a Tuesday morning and still be back home for afternoon tea.
Sessions take place either at the purpose-built studio or at a country park five minutes away. Both are straightforward from east Cheshire, and parking is directly outside the studio.
Every session is built around your dog’s personality and pace. At the end of it, you choose from the photographs and decide how you want them finished. Framed pieces, high-definition contemporary metal, heirloom products: artwork made to become a permanent part of your home, not a folder on your phone.
The session fee of £175 is credited against artwork purchases if you spend £500 or more. Most clients invest between £800 and £1,200 in finished pieces, depending on what they choose.
Many clients from Knutsford, Wilmslow, and Alderley Edge own working or gun-dog breeds: Spaniels, especially Springers and Cockers, Labradors, Vizslas, Pointers. These are dogs with a working life alongside their home life, and the photographs that do them justice are rarely taken between the kitchen and the garden.

The country park sessions especially suit dogs that need space and movement before they settle. It’s a perfect location for working dogs, providing the backdrop of ferns, heather and gorse that so matches the landscape they spend their working lives within. The homes in this part of Cheshire tend to have proper wall space, and clients here tend to choose pieces that fill it. A framed portrait in a hallway in Knutsford is a considered purchase, chosen for a specific room. That distinction shows in the result.
Gun-dog breeds are a speciality but all dogs welcome.
How long does the session take? Sessions run for 60-90 minutes. The session moves at your dog’s pace. You view and choose your artwork the same day, at the studio, which ensures you only have to make the one visit and you have the perfect experience.
Do I need to do anything to prepare my dog? A good walk beforehand helps most dogs arrive more relaxed. Feed them lightly and bring their favourite treats. Anything specific to your dog is covered in the planning process before your session date.
