The studio is just the other side of Wrexham. From Shrewsbury, most clients take the A5 west to Oswestry and pick up the A483 north toward Wrexham, door to door in around an hour. From Oswestry and north Shropshire, the drive shortens to 30–35 minutes on the A483.
Sessions take place at the purpose-built studio or at a country park five minutes away. Parking is directly outside.
Every session is built around your dog’s personality and pace. At the end of it, you choose from the photographs and decide how you want them finished. Framed pieces, high-definition contemporary metal, heirloom products: artwork made to become a permanent part of your home, not a folder on your phone.
The session fee of £175 is credited against artwork purchases if you spend £500 or more. Most clients invest between £800 and £1,200 in finished pieces, depending on what they choose.
Few parts of England have a working dog culture as strong as Shropshire’s. Spaniels and Labradors here split their time between shoots in autumn and fireside in winter. Border Collies arrive at sessions with the kind of confidence that comes from years of real work. Vizslas, Pointers, and Retrievers are owned by people who understand what a dog is actually for.
Getting portraits that show the dog you actually know, rather than a version standing awkwardly still for a camera, takes a session built around patience, the right environment, and the dog’s own pace.
The homes in Shropshire suit this kind of artwork well. A framed portrait above a stone fireplace in a farmhouse outside Ludlow, or on the wall of a Georgian town-house in Shrewsbury, is a considered purchase chosen for a specific room. Clients come back to look at it for the same reason they chose it.
Working and gun-dog breeds are a speciality, but all dogs welcome.

How long does the session take? Sessions run for 60-90 minutes. The session moves at your dog’s pace. You view and choose your artwork the same day, at the studio, which ensures you only have to make the one visit and you have the perfect experience. Finished artwork is delivered direct to you via courier, so no need to return to us.
Do you photograph working dogs and country breeds? Yes, and these are some of the most rewarding sessions. Working Spaniels, Labradors, Vizslas, Pointers, Border Collies: dogs whose characters have been shaped by real work. The country park sessions suit dogs that need space and movement before they settle.
Do I need to do anything to prepare my dog? A good walk beforehand helps most dogs arrive more relaxed. Feed them lightly and bring their favourite treats. Anything specific to your dog is covered in the planning process before your session date.
